This FailSmart upgrade kit provides an additional safety margin by replacing the A1 line on Vectran 300 and Vectran 400 linesets with a stronger line material.

Here’s what’s in the FailSmart Upgrade Kit

For Vectran 400 (e.g. Leia/SLeia/JFX 2):
A pair of A1 lines in Vectran 500
A pair of cascades in Vectran 400

For Vectran 300 (e.g. Petra):
A pair of A1 lines in Vectran 400
A pair of cascades in Vectran 300

Why it matters
A1 lines are the most loaded during flight. Strengthening them reduces the risk of low-altitude failures, enhancing overall safety. Upgrading your A1 line improves durability and helps prevent failures at a critical point in your system.
