Privacy Policy

NZ Aerosports Ltd Privacy Policy
effective 25.5.2018

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.jyro.com (the “Site”). This policy is based on the terms used by the European legislator for the adoption of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The processing of personal data, such as name, address, e-mail address, or telephone number shall always be in line with the GDPR and in accordance with the country-specific data protection regulations applicable to NZ Aerosports Ltd.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

“Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.

“Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

“Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number. We may also receive information about you from an authorized NZ Aerosports dealer who has made a contract with you about a purchase or a purchase attempt for one of our products. We refer to this information as “Order Information.”

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

Users of our website are also given the opportunity to subscribe to our newsletters, register on the website, or contact us through a webform or a chat tool. Which data is transmitted to us in the case of registration, subscribing, or submitting a form or a chat conversation, in addition to the above Device information, is determined by the respective input mask used for the registration. A confirmation email will be sent to the e-mail address you registered for the first time, as a double opt-in procedure. This confirmation email is used to prove whether the owner of the e-mail address is authorized to receive the newsletter.

Our newsletters contain so-called tracking pixels. Tracking pixels are a miniature graphic embedded in such emails, which are sent in HTML format to enable log file recording and analysis. This allows a statistical analysis of the success or failure of online marketing campaigns. Based on the embedded tracking pixel, the NZ Aerosports Ltd may see if and when an email was opened, and which links in the email were called up. This information is used to optimize the newsletter broadcasts, as well as to adapt the content of future newsletters.

We have integrated components of the following enterprises on our website: Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. These are all so-called social networks. With each call-up to one of the pages on our website that has a social component integrated, the web browser you use will automatically prompt to download a display of the corresponding social component from the network in question, and the network is made aware of what specific subsite our website was visited by you. If you were logged in to the social network at the same time, the network will detect with every call-up to our website, and for the entire duration of your stay on our website, which specific subsite of our website you visited. This information is collected through the component and associated with your respective social network account. If you click on one of the social component buttons integrated on our website, e.g. a “like” button, or you submit a comment, the social network will match and store this information with your personal user account of the social network in question. If you wish to not transmit such information to social networks, you may prevent this by logging off from your social network account before visiting our website.

You can read more about how social networks collect, process and use personal data through the following links: https://facebook.com/about/privacy
